What to include

A message we can act on beats a long one. Depending on why you are writing, include:

  • Reporting an inaccurate step — the page URL, the step number, your router brand and model, and what the screen actually said.
  • A privacy request — which right you are exercising, so we can handle it within the statutory deadline.
  • A copyright notice — every element listed in our DMCA policy, with "DMCA Notice" in the subject line.
  • A partnership or press enquiry — who you are, what you are proposing and any deadline.

Response times

We aim to acknowledge messages within two business days. Copyright and privacy requests are prioritised and handled inside the timeframe the relevant law requires.

What we cannot help with

We want to set expectations honestly, because these arrive often:

  • We cannot recover, reset or look up your router password — that lives on your hardware, not with us. The factory reset steps show how to start over.
  • We cannot access your network, diagnose your line or see your router from here.
  • We cannot provide warranty service or repairs — that is your manufacturer or your ISP.
  • We cannot help you access a network you do not own or administer, and we will not try.

If you are locked out of your own router, the factory-reset walkthrough on the home page is the route back in.

Never send us credentials

Do not put your router password, Wi-Fi password or admin username in an email to us or to anyone else. We do not need them, we do not want them, and we cannot use them.
