Our position on copyright

We publish our own written guidance and our own illustrations. We do not host software, firmware images or manufacturer manuals. If something on this site is nonetheless yours and was published without permission, we will remove it promptly once properly notified.

How to submit a takedown notice

Send a written notice that includes all of the following. A notice missing any element may be invalid and may delay our response.

• Your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or someone authorised to act for them.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
• The exact URL on this site where the material appears, specific enough for us to find it.
• Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
• A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury that you are authorised to act for the copyright owner.

Where to send it

Email your notice to blogguru7887@gmail.com with "DMCA Notice" in the subject line. Sending it to any other address will slow things down.

What happens after we receive a notice

We review valid notices promptly. Where a notice is well founded we remove or disable access to the material and record the action. Where a notice is incomplete or plainly mistaken we will tell you what is missing rather than ignore it.

Counter-notification

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice containing:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, postal address and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.

Repeat infringers

We do not accept user-submitted content, so there are no accounts to terminate. Where a contributor repeatedly supplies infringing material, we end the arrangement.

Misrepresentation

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, can make you liable for damages including costs and legal fees. Please be sure before you file.
